Mode of admission:   

Eligibility: Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or its equivalent from a recognized Agricultural/ Horticultural university or deemed university accredited by ICAR. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Cat-I, a minimum OGPA of 6.00/10.00 i.e., pass in bachelor’s degree is adequate.  Candidate should produce character and conduct certificate issued by the Deans of the respective constituent colleges of their Farm Universities. Candidate should have passed bachelor’s degree programme from any ICAR accredited Farm University in Karnataka. Horanadu/ Gadinadu Kannadigas should possess a degree from an Agricultural/ Horticultural university or any deemed university accredited by ICAR from the eligible geographical region as per GoK orders.

Domicile requirement: Karnataka state domicile status- a minimum 7 years of study is mandatory

Mode of Admission: The admission to various post graduate program is through common entrance test conducted by Farm Universities of the state / ICAR Common entrance test and considering the concerned qualifying degree as eligibility and 50 % weightage to final OGPA at concerned qualifying degree level and 50% weightage to common entrance test score.

Registration process:  The admitted candidates shall register for courses in consultation with the Head of the concerned department within the last date(s) prescribed, failing which their admission stands cancelled.In-service candidates shall produce relief order from their organizations at the time of registration.Candidates from waiting list may be admitted and may register up to four weeks from commencement of the first semester. Attendance in respect of such late admitted students shall be reckoned from the date of registration.

Fee payment mechanism: Every student enrolled for Masters and Doctoral degree programmes of the University shall pay fees forregistration. All the students have to compulsorily pay the fees of Migration Certificate/Bonafide Certificate/Character Certificate etc, as per Academic Information & Regulations at the end of IV Semester of Degree programme.
