            In the Hostel, 15 blocks are available and 2075 students are accommodated during 2018-19. Each hostel has mess, drinking water, indoor game facilities, transport facility, emergency medical facility etc.

Girls Hostel:

Girl students of the College of Agriculture are accommodated along with students from Community Sciences College in the Girls Hostel under the Administrative control of Dean, Community Science College. There are seven hostel buildings having 336 rooms, which accommodate 1000 UG and PG students. Two separate dining halls with separate cooking facility are available for UG and PG students. Steam rice boiler, geyser facilities have been created in the mess to reduce the cost of fuel and in turn to reduce the mess bill for the students.

One Chief Warden and two Wardens are nominated by the University with Dean (CSc) recommendations

              The University has made provision for a cook and watchman. About 40 supporting staff are hired by the students for smooth functioning of the hostel activities.

Facilities available in the hostel

1. The hostel has two mess with two dining halls and with separate kitchen for each mess
2. Steam boiler (rice) are established in the mess to reduce the cost of cylinders
3. Geyser facilities and 24×7 water facility is available.
4. Water purifier (RO) is established in each block and mess with clean hygienic drinking water.
5. Four Incineration equipments are installed for clean and safe disposal of sanitary napkins.
6. A separate study hall and Computer Room with wi-fi facility has been created in the hostel.
7. Facilities of indoor games like carom, chess and Table tennis is established.
8. Outdoor sports facilities like basket ball, volley ball, ball badminton court and kho kho court are established in and round hostel for girl students.
9. A Small multi gym is established in the hostel premises.
10.  24×7 transport facilities are available for any medical emergencies arising in the hostel.
11. A well equipped dispensary with qualified doctors with provision of medicines is situated in the campus. First aid and regular medical kit is available in each block.
12.  Three Assistants, 6 caretakers, 8 cleaning staff, 21 cooks are serving for smooth running for the hostel.
